Donna Jean Whited, 71, of 1636 Karen Drive in Lima, OH died 11:42 a.m. Wednesday December 16, 2009 at St.Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH

She was born February 8, 1938 in Sparta, MI to Fred and Eleanor (Gritzmaker) Harding.

She is survived by:

husband, John Whited of Lima, OH

daughter, Debra (Steve) Rohrbach of St.Marys, OH

daughter, JoAnne (Randy) Gaster of Lima, OH

son, Mark Bloom of Colorado Springs, CO

son, Lewis (Kimberly) Chlebek of Antwerp, NY

5 grandchildren: Leslie (Nathan) Ungerott, Dustin Rohrbach, Trevor . . Rohrbach, Bryce Chlebek, Jacob Chlebek

3 great-grandchildren: Carder & Chase Ungerott, Austin Rohrbach

brother, Gilbert (Hazel) Ross of Englewood, FL

She was preceded in death by her parents;, brother, Donald Blaine; sister, JoAnne Sims.

She was retired as assistant to the director of Elderly Nutrition Services in Lima, OH.

She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple.

Donna was a loving mother and caregiver to all those she knew. She cherished her family and friends, and nurtured the relationships they shared. Her favorite pastimes included cooking, making crafts and being kind to animals.

Rites are scheduled 1:00 p.m. Monday December 21, 2009 at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1605 Celina Road in St.Marys, with Pastor Dan Wigton, officiating. Private family burial will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St.Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 3 - 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
