Jacqueline “Nana” Weber Whetstone, 76, formerly of 505 Gibbs Ave. in Wapakoneta, OH died Wednesday October 24, 2007 at the Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta.
She was born November 25, 1930 in Wapakoneta to Thurlow “Tub” & Lucille (Naylor) Weber.
On June 21, 1951, she married Maurice E. Whetstone, who died August 26, 1993.

Mrs. Whetstone was a1948 graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta. She assisted her family in the operation of the former Weber’s Restaurant on Wood Street in Wapakoneta. She and her sister also operated the former P & K Restaurant in downtown St.Marys. She worked at the Varsity Bowling Lanes in St.Marys for a great many years. She was a member of the “Classy Chicks of ‘48” Red Hat Society.
She and Maurice enjoyed making and selling crafts, meeting new people and spending time at their home on Bartholomew Lake, near Coldwater, MI. She was known for her baking capabilities -- especially pies, sugar cookies and chocolate candies.
She had a zest for living that she shared with all who knew her.
Services are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 30, 2007 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.
Visitation will be held 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home on Ohio 703 West.
