Raymond L.J. Whetsel, 12, of 204 W. Walnut Street in Mendon, OH died Sunday September 21, 2008 at his residence.

He was born January 6, 1996 in Lima, OH.

Paternal grandparents: Thelma Scott of Portland, IN, Ronnie Evans of Merritt Island, FL, Donna Thacker of Paulding, OH, Ivy Evans of Neptune, OH

Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other members of extended family

He was precededin death by his grandparents: Leon Wallace, Lloyd Fellers, Carl Evans, Dan Scott, Charles & Mary Whetsel; aunt Betty Marie Head; cousins Chase Miller & Dalton Prater

He was a 6^th grade student in the Parkway Local School District in Rockford, OH.

He enjoyed watching football, various types of art (especially drawing), playing video games, Magic Cards, and eating pizza.

Services are scheduled 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 25, 2008 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Judy Ball, officiating. Burial will follow at the Neptune Cemetery, near Neptune, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be held  5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
