Wilbur W. Warner, 90, of 1110 Nagel Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died at 9:07 P.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys.

He was born November 19, 1921, in New Bremen, Ohio, the son of Raleigh and Flora (Lutterbein) Warner.

He married Jean Blank in June 4, 1949 and she survives at the residence. 

He is also survived by his daughter, Mary (James) Bell of Evanston, Illinois; by two grandchildren: Jonathan W. Bell of Evanston, Illinois; and Elizabeth M. Bell of Evanston, Illinois; by two sisters: Vera (Guy) Schmidt of Celina; Evelyn Heinfeld of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by an infant brother, Edwin Warner. 

Wilbur was a 1939 graduate of New Bremen High School. He retired as the manager of Auglaize Landmark grain elevator in New Bremen, New Knoxville and Saint Marys. He was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church in Saint Marys. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and making toys for children. He loved spending time with his family. 

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 30, 2012, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Dr. Ed Bray, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, where memorial gifts may be given to Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ; Joint Township Palliative Care Service or the Cardiac Care Center of the Cleveland Clinic.
