Betty Lou Vogel, 79, of 122 Bayshore Court In St.Marys, OH died 12:05 a.m. Friday November 9, 2007 at the JTDM Hospital in St.Marys.

She was born December 9, 1927 in Wapakoneta, OH to Oliver & Minerva (Dresher) fritz.

On July 8, 1950, in Wapakoneta she married Robert H. Vogel, who survives.

She is also survived by:

¨ Daughter, Debbie (Kevin) McCoy of Kettering, OH

¨ Daughter, Joy (Ken) Kooistra of Burnsville, MN

¨ Daughter, Julie Livingston of Beavercreek, OH

¨ 4 grandchildren: Nathan Kooistra, Abby McCoy, Philip Kooistra, Marissa McCoy

¨ Brother, Robert (Dorothy) Fritz of St.Marys, OH

She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver & Minerva Fritz and her  son-in-law David “Andy” Livingston.

She was a1945 graduate of the Blume High School in Wapakoneta.  She was a home maker and professional ceramicist, having taught lessons for many years at the Auglaize Co. Sr. Citizens Center.

She enjoyed flower gardening and collecting antique art glass.

Services are scheduled 12:00 noon Monday November 12, 2007 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Bruce Head, officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.

Friends may visit 10:00 a.m. until noon on Monday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.

Memorial contributions may be directed to either the Cancer Assoc. of Auglaize Co., or the Dialysis Unit at JTDM Hospital.
