Doris L. Tinnerman, 87, formerly of 302 Bielefeld Street, New Knoxville, and a resident of the Saint Marys Living Center, died 1:25 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Saint Marys Living Center.
She was born November 29, 1923, in Spencerville, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Counts) Lauth.

She married Karl Tinnerman on September 23, 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Sue (Jerry) Lehman of Wapakoneta;by a daughter-in-law, Donna Tinnerman of New Knoxville; by 7 grandchildren: Jerry Lehman, Jr; Jeff Lehman; ChrisTinnerman;Stacy Tinnerman; David Tinnerman; Ryan Tinnerman; Jennifer Lehman; by 14 great-grandchildren; by 3 step-great-grandchildren; by three brothers: Harold Lauth of New Knoxville; Jim (Marilyn) Lauth of Saint Marys; Ronald Lauth of Sebring, Fla; by one sister, Emma (David) Severt of Wapakoneta.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Larry Tinnerman; a grandchild, Kimberly Lehman; by her siblings: Leona McPheron; Anna Axe; William Lauth; Betty McClintock; Robert Lauth;Jean Ann Lauth.

Doris retired from Joint Township Hospital where she had been a nurses' aid; she was also a homemaker. She attended the Saint Marys Church of God. The real passion of her life was caring for her family.

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Charles Richtmyer,officiant.Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
