Freida G. Taylor, 75, of 3601 State Route 703, Lot 26, and formerly of Anderson, Indiana, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the residence of her son in Marion, Indiana.

She was born November 15, 1934, in Printer, Kentucky, the daughter of Herb and Louise (Allen) McGlothen.

She married William “Pepsi” Taylor and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her three children: Vickie Lynn (Peter Pivet) Wehrhahn of Fort Wayne, Indiana; John Arthur (Teresa) Fernung of Marion, Indiana; Amy Elizabeth (Vince Sims) Clark of New Knoxville, Ohio; by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; by her siblings: Greta York of Anderson, Indiana; Rita Petry of Brookville, Ohio; Donna Friedman of Huber Heights, Ohio; Sharon (Roger) Henschen of New Knoxville; Herb (Anne) McGlothen of Anderson, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Pepsi Taylor, and by three infant children.

Freida attended high school in Martin, Kentucky until her senior year, when she moved to Saint Marys, Ohio and graduated from Saint Marys Memorial High School in 1952. She retired from Celina’s Best Yogurt. She was an early advocate for natural foods and herbs to promote good health. She enjoyed studying geneaology, taking and collecting photos; reading, and fishing. She had lived and worked for 30 years in Anderson, Indiana, where she had been active doing Christian Outreach work with teenagers.

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, Pastor Randy McKinney, officiant. Burial will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, where memorial donations may be directed to the Auglaize County Cancer Association.
