Barbara Jean Swanson, 80, of 2100 Celina Road in St.Marys, OH died 3:30 a.m. Tuesday February 9, 2010 at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born January 25, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI to Luther and Rosalee (Giroux) Stone.

She was married to Henry Swanson, who died July 9, 1994.

Survivors include:

• daughter, Julia (Ed) Woods of McAlpin, FL
• daughter, Linda Harruff of St.Marys, OH
• daughter, Donna (Chris) Wyatt of St.Marys, OH
• daughter, Judy (Bob) Zink of St.Marys, OH
• son, Henry (Jennifer) Swanson of St.Marys, OH
• son, Robert (Lori) Swanson of St.Marys, OH
• 15 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Ethel Truax; sister, Agnes Radcliff; brother, Joe Stone; brother, Oliver Stone; brother, Ansel “Pat” Stone; brother, Luther “Bud” Stone; son-in-law, Brent Finke.

She was a graduate of Cement City, MI High School.  She retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Mfg. in Celina, OH and also did domestic housecleaning.

She liked cooking, mushroom hunting and playing cards. Most of all, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

Rites are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Friday February 12, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1605 Celina Road in St.Marys. Private family burial will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery.

Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
