Vonnie V. Sutton, 73, of 1118 Nagel Street, St.Marys, OH, died 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Joint Township Hospital in St.Marys.

She was born February 5, 1935, in Mousie, KY, the daughter of Rufus and Betty (Thornsberry) Tuttle. They preceded her in death.

She married Harold Sutton on May 4, 1952; he preceded her in death on April 25, 1989.

She is survived by her five children: Harold (Cindy) Sutton of Ridgeville, IN; Marjorie (James) Sparks of Prestonburg, KY; William (Marcia) Sutton of Seattle, WA; Steve Sutton of St.Marys; Biana (Mike) Moorman of Louisville, KY; by a son-in-law, Scott Sanford of Sterling Heights, MI.

She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters: Shelba Roller of St.Marys; Barbara Rhodes of Celina; by five brothers: Doyle Tuttle of Baytown, TX; Jethro Tuttle of St.Marys; Glenn Tuttle of St.Marys; Cletus and Bobby Tuttle, both of Moreno Valley, CA; by a brother-in-law, Clarence Shawver of Portland, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Gloria Sanford; a sister, Vere Slone.

Vonnie retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St.Marys. She was a member of the Samaria Missionary Baptist Church in St.Marys. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for them. She was a loyal St.Marys Roughrider fan, having not missed a football game since 1971.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St.Marys, the Reverend Jack Burns, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
