Larry D. “White Owl” Storer, 64, of 620 S. Wayne Street in St. Marys, OH died 10:39 p.m. Friday April 1, 2011 at Lima Memorial Health System. 

He was born February 28, 1947 in Hillsboro, OH to Carlos and Louise (Baker) Storer. 

On November 24, 1967 in St. Marys, OH, he married M. Kathy Sellers, who survives.

He was preceded in death by: father Carlos Storer, mother Louise Houston, brother Harold Storer, sister Alice Paulus, parents-in-law Russell & Juanita Schott 

He was a veteran of the US Army, having served two tours of duty in Viet Nam. 

A meat cutter for 38 years, he retired from Keystone Meats in Lima, OH. He had also worked at the former St. Marys Beef Co.  He was a lifetime member of VFW Post # 9289 in St. Marys. 

His favorite pastimes included fishing, camping and playing with his grandchildren. 

Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, with post chaplain Frank Thomas, officiating. Burial, with full graveside military honors, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
