Alice A. Stewart, 98, of 00663 Arnold Road, St.Marys, Oh died 1:50 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Joint Township Hospital in St.Marys, OH. 

She was born August 3, 1910 in Salem Township, Auglaize County, OH, the daughter of Irvin and Gertrude (Sprague) Rapp.  

She married Roy M. Stewart on December 18, 1930; he preceded her in death on January 15, 1983. 

She is survived by:

¨ Daughter, Mary Alice (Pearl) Stoner of Celina, OH

¨ Daughter, Carol (William) Davidson of Wapakoneta, OH

¨ 3 grandchildren

¨ 2 step-grandchildren

¨ 6 great-grandchildren

¨ 7 step-great-grandchildren

¨ 1 great-great grandchild

¨ 1 step-great-great grandchild 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Leah Kelly and one brother, Lewis Rapp. 

Alice was a 1928 graduate of Buckland High School.  She was an accomplished artist and painted landscapes and her favorite flower, roses. 

Private family burial rites will be held at the Kossuth Cemetery.
