Caleb Sharp, 76, of 14160 Glynwood-New Knoxville Road in St.Marys, OH died 2:07 a.m. Saturday December 13, 2008 at his residence.

He was born January 24, 1932 in Pineville, KY to Chester and Cora (Gibson) Sharp.

On October 4, 1954, he married Thursa Rhodes, who survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents

He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War.

He retired from the Maintenance department at Nu-Tek Foods in Wapakoneta and had also worked at the former Avco-New Idea in Coldwater.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services are scheduled 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 18, 2008, at the Saint Marys Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Alva Daniel, officiant. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to the Saint Marys Missionary Baptist Church.
