Richard “Dick” Schwarck, 64, 14549 CR 66-A, St.Marys, OH, died 12:45 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at St.Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH after an extended illness.

He was born November 14, 1942 in St.Marys, the son of Carl and Amanda (Waltz) Schwarck.  His father preceded him in death; his mother, Amanda Schwarck Borges, survives in St.Marys.

He married Willine Thompson on October 28, 1966; she survives at the residence.

He is survived by:

· Daughter, Stacey (Barry) Erb, Wapakoneta, OH

· Daughter, Mandy (Marus Coleman) Schwarck, Gadson, AL

· Son, Rick (Barb) Swink, Zachery, LA

· Son, Wade (Vicki) Schwarck, New Carlisle, OH

· 14 Grandchildren, Crystal, Shelly, Jarred, Elizabeth, Justin, Benjamin, Darren, Jordon, Brittany, Desiree, Patrick, Andrew, Kayla and Amber

· Two great-grandsons, Luke and T.J.

· Brother, Harry (Jeannine) Schwarck, Celina, OH

· Brother, Larry Schwarck, New Knoxville, OH

· Sister, Connie (Chuck) Overley, St.Marys, OH

He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Joe Borges.

Dick retired after 38 years of service from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St.Marys.  He enjoyed collecting John Deere tractors and going to old-fashioned steam shows.  He enjoyed taking pictures of birds, tinkering in his garage, helping out at Hillsdale Baptist Church where he was a member.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Hillsdale Baptist Church in St.Marys, OH, Pastor Harold Leiss officiating.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St.Marys, OH.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH.  Memorial donations may be directed to Hillsdale Baptist Church.
