Retha Schell, 73, of 255 Marsh Drive, St.Marys, OH died 7:50 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at her residence, following an extended illness. 

She was born August 21, 1936 in Pruden, TN to Elvin and Mary Orick. 

On July 27, 1953 she married Donald L. Schell, who survives.

¨ Sister, Pearl Walker of St.Marys, OH

¨ Sister, Evelyn (Hewil) Teague of St.Marys, OH

¨ Sister, Judy (A. Clay) Beagle of St.Marys, OH

¨ Brother, Verlin Orick of St.Marys, OH 

She was preceded in death by her parents and 12 siblings. 

She had worked as a cook at the former Happy Humpty restaurant in St.Marys for many years. 

Her pastimes included fishing, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Services are scheduled 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH, with the Rev. Elmer Davis, officiating.  Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday at the funeral home on Celina Road.
