Janet G. Sawmiller, 75, of 165 Farnsworth Drive in St. Marys, OH died 10:15 a.m. Sunday June 20, 2010 at her residence.

She was born October 18, 1934 in Van Wert, OH to Charles and Flossie (Miller) Prichard.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; former husband, Jack Sawmiller, Sr.; granddaughter, Jeanelle Morgan; son-in-law, Jerry Morgan; son-in-law, Charles Slaven; sister, Olive Cashel; sister, Sylvia Thatcher; brother, Ned Prichard; sister, Betty Prichard; brother, Homer Prichard; brother, James Prichard; sister, Alice Imler; sister, Princess Echeman; brother, Max Prichard; brother, Charles Prichard.

She was a1952 graduate of Van Wert High School.

She was a homemaker and retired form the Auglaize Co. Council on Aging where she was a facilitator for the elderly. She had previously been worked as a production employee for the St. Marys Cotton Mill and Hayes-Albion in Spencerville, OH.

First and foremost in her life was her family, It was important for her to visit with keep up with the goings-on of her grandchildren. Her pastimes included solving crossword puzzles, gardening, dancing, shopping and swimming.

Rites are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Friday June 25, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Judy Ball, officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, in Ohio City, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 2 -  8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
