Shirley Ann Rodrigues, 67, of 720 Hillcrest Drive, St.Marys, OH died at 5:55 a.m. after a long term illness Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Golden Living Center, St.Marys, OH. 

She was born on August 15, 1941 in Honolulu, HI, the daughter of Juan De La Cruz and Encarnation Rodrigues. 

Mrs. Rodrigues is survived by her six children:

¨ Son, Norman (Penny) Santiago, Jr of Waipahu, HI

¨ Son, James Kim of Waipahu, HI

¨ Daughter, Laura Mohrman of St.Marys, OH

¨ Daughter, Priscilla Santiago of Waipahu, HI

¨ Son, Calvin “Rico” Santiago of Waipahu, HI

¨ 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren

¨ Sister, Betty Combs of Amber, MI

¨ Brother, Benjamin De La Cruz, Waianae, HI

¨ Brother, John De La Cruz, Nanakuli, HI

¨ Brother, Bernard De La Cruz, Waianae, HI

¨ Sister, Gail Soto, Waianae, HI

¨ Brother, Harold De la Cruz, Waianae, HI 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Capucci Rodrigues; brother, Johnny Agerine; brother, Frank Rodrigues; brother, Franklin De La Cruz; son-in-law, David Mohrman; sister, Lucy De La Cruz. 

She lived in Hawaii until 4 years ago, when she came to St.Marys to be closer to family.  Mrs. Rodrigues was a homemaker who greatly loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was Catholic by faith.

Her funeral was held Friday afternoon, December 12, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating.  Private burial rites will be held in Hawaii at a future date.
