Sandy Riethman, 48, of 03580 Markley Road, Saint Marys, died 6:40 P.M. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at her residence from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. 

 

She was born Mary 26, 1962, in Lima, the daughter of Thomas and Lorna (Stelzer) Emerson, who survive in Wapakoneta.

She married Michael Riethman on September 10, 1982 and he survives at the residence.

 

She is also survived by her two sons: Nicholas (Alicia) Riethman of Wapakoneta; Jay (Jenny) Riethman of Saint Marys; by two grandsons: Mitchel Riethman and Joseph Riethman; by a brother: Aaron (Sheri) Emerson of Anna; sister, Michelle (Rick) Schneider of Botkins; by her in-laws, Linus (Mary) Riethman of Saint Marys.

 

Sandy was a 1980 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and a graduate of Lima Technical College. She was a registered nurse, and had worked in the Obstetrics Department of both Joint Township Hospital in Saint Marys and Lima Memorial Hospital. She was also the co-owner of RRR Tire Service in Saint Marys and Wapakoneta.

 

She was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Glynnwood. She enjoyed working with her family and spending time with her many friends.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A. M. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, Glynnwood, Father Oscar Seger, celebrant. Burial will follow at Saint Thomas Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 2-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to Saint Patrick's Catholic Church.
