Ada Deloris Puschell, 79, of 19190 Townline-Kossuth Road, St.Marys, OH, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Lima Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. 

Deloris was born September 2, 1929 in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of Laird G. and Ava (Houts) Fast. 

She married Fred Puschell on April 21, 1951 in the St.Marys Nazarene Parsonage and he survives at the residence. 

She is survived by:

¨ Son, Larry (Leza) Puschell of St.Marys, OH

¨ Son, Keith (Laura) Puschell of Celina, OH

¨ Daughter, Linda (Rickie) Hoffman, Celina, OH

¨ Daughter, Karen (Gordon) Barcomb of Lake Jackson, TX

¨ 16 grandchildren

¨ 6 great-grandchildren 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sisters and one grand-daughter and one great-grandson. 

She was a 1947 graduate of Neptune High School.  She was a dedicated member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she had previously worked in the nursery.  Deloris was a life long homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, embroidery, shopping and traveling.  Most of all, she greatly loved her family, especially the grandkids.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 at the First Church of the Nazarene at 390 Indiana Ave., St.Marys, OH with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Memorials may be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene or to the American Cancer Society.
