Anne Prueter, 86, of 1315 Kimberly Drive, Saint Marys, and a longtime resident of Perrysburg, Ohio, died 9:46 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2011, at the Gardens of Celina.

 

She was born April 4, 1925, in Waynesfield, Ohio, the daughter of P. L. and Addie (Coolidge) Pepple.

 

She married Albert "Tiny" Prueter on March 23, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2005.

 

She is survived by her two children: Kay (Richard) Teeters of Saint Marys, Ohio; Kyle (Ann) Prueter of Perrysburg, Ohio; by six grandchildren: Matthew Teeters; Michelle (Garrett) Burns; Joanna Prueter; Matthew Prueter; Sarah (Zach) Boris; Austin Prueter; by six great-grandchildren: Ashlyn Burns; Achyvia Burns; Michael Burns; Kasmir Burns; Andre Burns; Josie Prueter; by one sister, Kathleen Chiles of Waynesfield.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

 

Anne was a graduate of Waynesfield High School and the Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked at Lima Memorial Hospital and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys, Ohio. She also worked as a fabric consultant at T G and Y. She was a very active 4-H Leader in both Auglaize and Wood Counties, Ohio; she was past president of the Perrysburg Swim Team; she was a Girl Scout Leader in Saint Marys and Perrysburg. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Perrysburg. She enjoyed camping, was an avid reader and for many years was an election poll worker. The joy of her life was being with her children and grandchildren.

 

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 4, 2011, at the Waynesfield United Methodist Church, the Reverend Kathleen Hayes, officiant. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home,314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, where memorial donations may be directed to the Saint Marys Community Library.
