Max A. Prichard, 72, of 1422 Oakland Court in St.Marys, OH died 7:30 p.m. Thursday September 10, 2009 at St.Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH. 

He was born September 8, 1937 in Van Wert, OH to Charles and Flossie (Miller) Prichard. 

On March 13, 1993, he married Diana S. Huston-Koenig, who survives.

Step-son, John (Denise) Koenig of Bristol, WI

10 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren

Sister, Janet Sawmiller of St.Marys, OH

Sister, Princess Echman of Versailles, OH 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: James Prichard, Homer Prichard, Ned Prichard, Charles Prichard; sisters: Olive Cashel, Betty Prichard, Sylvia Thatcher, Alice Imler. 

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He was a retired production employee for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St.Marys.  Attended St.Paul’s United Church of Christ in St.Marys.  He enjoyed watching NBA games, traveling to his winter home in Arcadia, FL, shooting pool and spending time with his extended family. 

Services are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 15, 2009 at the Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1605 Celina Road in St.Marys, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray an Mr. Al Baker, officiating. Burial , with graveside military rites, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St.Marys.

Visitation will be held 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
