Eileen Parker, 84, of 2100 Celina Road Lot# 61, St. Marys died unexpectedly at 5.12pm Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Joint township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. 

Eileen was born Sept. 3, 1925 in Lima, OH the daughter of Dewey and Florence (Weaver) Gross. 

She married Herb Parker on Jan. 18, 1960 in St. Marys and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2002. 

She is survived by five children and 12 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Charles Gross and her sister, Betty Hassen.. 

She was a 1943 graduate of Lima Central High School.  She was previously employed at the Huffy Corporation in Celina.  She greatly loved her family and she enjoyed bingo, playing cards, solving puzzles and reading. She was devoted to her dogs, especially Missy. 

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the St. Marys American Legion Post. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at 11am at the Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High St. with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm at the Miller-

Long & Folk Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
