Judith Eileen Palmer, 67, of 806 Heather Drive, St.Marys, OH died Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Joint Township Hospital in St.Marys, OH. 

She was born August 22, 1941 in Celina, OH, the daughter of Howard and Velanda (Grieshop) Palmer. 

She is survived by:

¨ Sister, Betty Ann Palmer of St.Marys, OH

¨ Close friends, Stan and Nan Davis of St.Marys, OH

¨ Close friends, Jim and Carol Axe of St.Marys, OH

¨ Close friend, Jean Hentrich of Hot Springs Village, AK 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Judy was a 1960 graduate of St.Marys Memorial High School. She led a very active life as a volunteer at her church, Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St.Marys, OH, where she had taught CCD for many years, and served as a lector.   

One of her most important responsibilities was answering the telephone for the parish priest and dispatching him to offer sacraments to people who were ill.  She loved to sew for others; she enjoyed reading, putting together puzzles, playing cards and entertaining in her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27,2008 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St.Marys, Oh, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher, celebrant.  Burial will be follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St.Marys, OH.

Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Friday, December 26,2008 at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St.Marys, OH where memorial donations  may be directed to Adopt-A-Student Program at Holy Rosary Catholic Church or to the Friends of Holy Rosary School.
