Geraldine M. Nussbaum, 89, formerly of 962 E. Spring Street in St.Marys, OH died 2:55 a.m. Wednesday February 13, 2008 at the Shane Hill Nursing Home in Rockford, OH.

She was born May 20, 1918 in Mendon, OH to Clinton & Dora (Wilson) Gilliland.

She is survived by:

Son, Kenneth (June) Boroff of Mt.Vernon, OH

Daughter, Gloria Harner of Mendon, OH

12 grandchildren

19 great-grandchildren

4 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands: Dale Boroff & Ralph Nussbaum; daughter Linda Lou Sutter; grandson Kenneth Harner; granddaughter Jewel Annette Sutter; great-granddaughter, Hailee Harner; sons-in-law Richard Sutter & Joseph Harner; brothers: Theodore, John & Charles Gilliland; sisters: Nora Agler & Viola Wurster

She had worked as a nursing assistant at the Valley Nursing Home & JTDM Hospital in St.Marys, and Shane Hill Nursing Home in Rockford. She and her family had also operated the general store in Neptune for a number of years.

She attended the St.Marys Church of God.

She enjoyed sewing and solving crossword puzzles.

Services are scheduled 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Ed McCoy, officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary Evangelical Cemetery, near Mendon, OH.

Visitation for family and friends 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
