William Novin, 81, of Celina, OH died Wednesday February 1, 2012 at his residence.
He was born June 5, 1930 in Zeigler, IL to Michael and Mary (Gulish) Novin.
On February 19, 1952 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Oregon, OH he married Patricia Daney, who survives.
He is also survived by:
Daughter, Meg (Charles) Pearson of Skiatook, OK
Son, Michael (Stephanie) Novin of Westminster, CO
Daughter, Mary (David) Hone of Celina, OH
4 grandchildren: Janelle Irish-Sanders, Elizabeth Irish, Kristine Hone , Dalton Hone
Sister, Ethel (Robert) Derkensmeyer of Williston, OH
Brother, Ray Novin of Curtice, OH
He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter, Mary Patricia Novin.
He was a1949 graduate of Clay High School in Oregon, OH. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served as a 2nd lieutenant in the 3rd Armored Division during the Korean War.
He retired as plant superintendent and manager of quality control from the St. Marys Foundry Co.
Private services will be held. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
