Kenneth J. Nichols, 79, of 5319 Karafit Road in Celina, OH died 8:28 a.m. Friday February 6, 2009 at the JTDM Hospital in St.Marys. 

He was born September 29, 1928 in Clark Co., OH to Theodore & Bessie (Lute) Nichols. 

On July 6, 1979, he married Mary Sue Block in Fremont, IN.

¨ Step-son, Steven (Linda) Nichols of Columbus, OH

¨ Step-son, Lloyd Nichols of Ansonia, OH

¨ 23 grandchildren numerous great-grandchildren

¨ Sister, Delores Craig of Donnelsville, OH

¨ Sister, Ruby (Jack) Myers of Donnelsville, OH 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Lloyd, Leon, Charles, Jack & Ted Nichols and sister, Mary Lanum. 

He retired from the St.Marys Iron & Steel Corp., where he worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. 

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed walking his dog, “Buddy.”

Services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 10, 2009 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Bruce Head, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St.Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
