Maxine Morgan-Tilley, 84, formerly of Wapakoneta and Celina, OH, died 11:55 p.m. Thursday December 20, 2007 at the Florida Hospital (Fish Memorial) in Orange City, FL.

She was born October 6, 1923 in Cyclone, WV to Joe & Lula (Cook) Blankenship.

She is survived by: son Clarence Dean Hatfield of Orange City, FL

daughter Sharon Carl of Orange City, FL

daughter Carol (Jack) Prater of Wapakoneta, OH

daughter Garnet (Charles) Mullins of Deltona, FL

numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren

sister Janice (Art) Slone of Lexington, KY

sister Ruth Schoenleben of Celina, OH

sister Alice Maynard of Celina, OH

She was preceded in death by: parents, 2 husbands: Luther Morgan & Ernest Tilley, son Larry Morgan, son Paul Morgan, great-grandson Dalton Prater

She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at the former Villa Cerise’ Restaurant, near Grand Lake St.Marys.

She enjoyed playing bingo.

Services are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 27, 2007 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) with Art Slone, officiating. Burial will follow at the Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
