Ramona Moore, of 06176 County Road 33-A, Saint Marys, died unexpectedly at 10:38 A.M. Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys.

She was born November 11, 1933, in Miami County, Ohio, the daughter of John and Rose (Wenker) Ball. They preceded her in death.

She married James Moore on July 7, 1954, and he survives at the residence.

She is also survived by her children: Cheryl (Dennis) Donovan of Saint Marys; Jean Moore of Saint Marys; Candace (Richard) Darnell of Smyrna, Tennesee; James (Shauna) Moore, Jr. of Saint Marys; Heather Anderson of New Bremen, Ohio; by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; by a sister, Rachel Stienecker of Saint Marys; a brother, Ramon (Thelma Jean) Ball of Saint Marys; a sister-in-law, Grace Ball of Saint Marys.

Ramona was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys, where she had worked for 28.5 years. She loved going to auctions and garage sales and spending her time gardening.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 22, 2010, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Smith, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the American Red Cross.
