Patricia A. Miller, 80, of St. Marys, OH and Sebring, FL, died 7:53 p.m. Friday August 6, 2010 at the residence of her daughter in St. Marys.

She was born November 24, 1929 in St. Marys, OH to Norman and Hazel (Gibson) Otto.

On July 5, 1946 in St. Marys, OH, she married J. Edward Miller, who died June 18, 1999.

She is survived by:

Son, Michael (Paulette) Miller of St. Marys, OH

Daughter, Dianne (Robert) Koeper of St. Marys, OH

Daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Kohler of Wapakoneta, OH

Son, Doug (Jayne) Miller of Lima, OH

Daughter, Kay (Ray) Maher of Sebring, FL

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Linda Miller.

She attended St. Marys Memorial High School with the class of 1947.

She was a homemaker, who worked as a cafeteria cook for Holy Rosary Catholic School. Also, she and her husband owned and operated Miller’s Café in downtown St. Marys from 1951 until 2010.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its altar-rosary sodality.

Patty enjoyed playing cards, cooking and spending time with her family. Making friends came easily to her and she will be remembered for her pleasant personality and positive outlook on life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday August 11, 2010 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, in St. Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
