OBITUARY

Rita E. Meinerding, 88, of 815 Heather Drive in St.Marys, OH died 12:45 p.m. Sunday June 5, 2011 at her residence.

She was born April 27, 1923 in Ft. Recovery, OH to Henry and Veronica (Muhlenkamp) Sudhoff.

On November 24, 1945, in St. Anthony, OH, she married Wescensalus C. Meinerding, who died January 22, 1986.

She is survived by:

She was preceded in death by:  parents, husband, granddaughter Katie Meinerding, sister-in-law Rose Kohne

She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its altar-rosary sodality.

Her favorite pastimes included fishing, playing cards (euchre), and solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with all of her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m.  Thursday June 9, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery, in St. Marys.

Visitation  2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday  at Miller – Long & Folk  Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
