Leslie Rone McKinney, 55, of 430 Huffman Street in St. Marys, OH died 9:30 p.m. Tuesday October 18, 2011 at her residence.

She was born January 3, 1957 in Waynesfield, OH to Judge Gerald and Patricia (Butler) Rone.

On October 3, 1993 in Waynesfield, OH she married Victor Lewis McKinney, who survives.

She is also survived by:

Sister, Tasha (Bill) Marshall  of Lewis Center, OH

Siste,r Liza (Bill) Hemphill  of Lima, OH

Sister, Jayme (Dave) Muncie  of Canal Winchester, OH

Brother, Dr. Jerod (Veronica) Rone  of Spring Valley, OH

Sister-in-law, Janet (Jim) White  of St. Marys, OH

Numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her sister,  Nelanne Whetstone.

She was a 1975 graduate of Waynesfield – Goshen High School.

Prior to her becoming disabled, she had worked at McDonald Industries in Spencerville, Airport Manufacturing Co. in New Knoxville and Fisher Cheese Co. and Big Bear Grocery Store, both in Wapakoneta.

Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, watching television, and caring for her canine companions, “Mitzi” and “Lewis.”

Services are scheduled  10:30 a.m. Tuesday October 25, 2011 at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery in Waynesfield, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be held  5 – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home on High Street.
