M. Marjorie Martin, 86, of 14256 River Road in St. Marys, OH died 12:05 p.m. Friday October 7, 2011 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.

She was born December 11, 1924 in St. Marys, OH to Merrill “Bill” and Ruth (Smith) Miller.

She is survived by:

¨ John (Lori) Martin of St. Marys, OH

¨ Trisha Auer of Lima, OH

¨ Lorra (Lonnie) Prater of Ansonia, OH

¨ Justin Martin of St. Marys, OH

¨ Katrina Martin of St. Marys, OH

¨ 16 great-grandchildren  

¨ 2 great-great-grandchildren 

She was preceded in death by: parents, son John Martin, daughter Sheryl Perry, son Larry Martin, daughter Connie Martin, brother Thomas Miller, brother James Miller, long-time companion Wilbur Dohse

She was a 1942 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys. She was a homemaker and retired production employee for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included playing cards (especially euchre), solving crossword puzzles and dining out with her family and friends.

Funeral rites are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church 210 N. Wayne Street in St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Maki, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
