Vicki Lee Leonhard Market, 62, of 830 W. High Street, St.Marys, OH died at 9:45 a.m. September 7, 2009, at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.   

She was born May 9, 1947 in Celina, OH, the daughter of Paul Sr. and Emily (Howell) Leonhard.  Her mother survives in St.Marys. 

She is also survived by:

¨ Brother, Paul (Annette) Leonhard, Jr. of Troy, OH

¨ 2 nieces: Melissa Leonhard Dues of Howell, MI and Nicole Leonhard Riley of Troy, OH

¨ 1 nephew, Christian Leonhard of Parker, CO

¨ 4 great-nieces: Ashton, Kearston and Payton Riley, Lexi Dues and great-nephew, Noah Dues

¨ Aunts and uncles: Gloria Spicer of St.Marys, OH; Donna (Dick) Haines of St.Marys, OH; Marilyn (Luke) Gibbons of St.Marys, OH; Judy Howell of Ft.Myers FL; John Leonhard of St.Paris, OH.

¨ Many cousins and friends 

She was preceded in death by her father; 3 uncles: Ronnie Howell, Colonel James Leonhard and Robert Leonhard. 

She was employed as a caregiver for people with disabilities and worked for CRSI of Auglaize County and IHS of Mercer County.  She had worked for many years at Leonhard’s IGA and Scranton’s Market, both in St.Marys and Big Bear Market, New Bremen.  She was a 1965 graduate of Memorial High School.  She loved animals. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, St.Marys, OH.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 210 North Wayne St., St.Marys, OH, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating.  Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. 

Calling for family and friends will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Friday, September 11 at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St.Marys.  Contributions can be made to the church.
