Donald J. March, 83, of 312 Beech Street in St.Marys, OH died 6:34 p.m. Tuesday December 2, 2008 at St.Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born June 3, 1925 in Defiance Co., OH to Donald O. and Jennie S. (Fitzwater) March.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Glenn March, granddaughter Dorothy March, . brothers: Robert March & Paul March; sisters: Ruth Cross & Vivian Ditto

He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during World War II.

He retired from Bremco Mills in New Bremen, where he worked as a feed chopper operator.

He was a member of the VFW Post # 8445 in Wapakoneta, and he enjoyed fishing.

Services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Saturday December 8, 2008 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Bill Drummond, officiating. Burial, with graveside military rites, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St.Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 1 - 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
