Janet S. Mackenbach, 64, of 12012 Evans Road in Mendon, OH died 9:55 a.m. Friday October 28, 2011 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

She was born December 1, 1946 in Buckland, OH to Gerald and Leota (King) Shoffstall.

On April 20, 1964 in Wapakoneta, OH she married Thomas A. Mackenbach, who died October 5, 2006.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Becky (Mike Posada) Mackenbach  of Celina, OH

7 grandchildren: Vance Slone, Karia Slone, Dallas Fortner, Brettny Hamilton, Destiny Posada, Michael Posada, Trinity Todd

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister,  Betty Griffin; brother-in-law, Buddy Dials.

She was a homemaker and worked as a certified nursing assistant at Celina Manor Nursing Home and Valley Nursing Home.  She enjoyed watching  television  and old western movies. 

Services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday November 2, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Buckland Cemetery in Buckland, OH.

Visitation 3 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
