Margaret G. Lininger, 83, of 1708 Cheshire Drive, St.Marys, OH died 4:24 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St.Marys, OH. 

She was born January 15, 1926 in St.Marys, the daughter of Clarence and Thelma (Ashton) Caldwell. 

She married Harold Lininger on September 11, 1948; he preceded her in death on May 14, 1975. 

She is survived by:

¨ Her son, Richard Lininger of St.Marys, OH

¨ Sister, Marvel Thomas of St.Marys, OH

¨ Brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Caldwell of St.Marys, OH

¨ Brother, Rev. Walter (Shirley) Caldwell of Telford, PA

¨ Numerous nieces and nephews 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers:  Jerry and Jack Caldwell;  by a half-brother, Albert Binkley. 

Margaret had worked at the St.Marys Cotton Mill and the City of St.Marys.  She was a life member of VFW Post 9289 Ladies Auxiliary in St.Marys and was a former member of the St.Marys Senior Citizens.   

She enjoyed traveling.  She was a member of St.Paul’s United Church of Christ in St.Marys, OH. 

Funeral rites will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH, the Rev. Walter Caldwell, officiant.  Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to Auglaize Industries or the Diabetes Association.
