Wilfred C. “Bill” Liette, 92, of 1215 Kimberly Drive in St.Marys, OH died 10:20 p.m. Monday January 4, 2010 at JTDM Hospital in St.Marys.
He was born October 29, 1917 in Yorkshire, OH to Franklin and Lydia (Borches) Liette.
On July 1, 1940, he married Ruth A. Fannon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Lydia Liette; daughter, Judith Ann Liette; brother, Norbert Liette; brother, Hubert Liette; brother, Clarence Liette; brother, Franklin Liette;sister, Emerita Grier; sister, Dorothy Schafer; sister, Rosie . Hein.
He was a lifelong farmer in St.Marys Twp. in Auglaize Co., and also retired from STAMCO in New Bremen, OH, where he was a tool maker.
His memberships included Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St.Marys and American Trapshooting Assoc. in Dayton, OH.
He was an avid trapshooter and also enjoyed fishing.
Bill was an faithful and honest, hard-working man whose word was bond.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled 11:00 a.m. Monday January 11 2010 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St.Marys, with the Rev. James C. Seibert, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, in St.Marys.
Visitation 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1605 Celina Road in St.Marys.
