Jean M. Liesner, 78, of 1807 Winston Place in St.Marys, OH (formerly of Glynwood, OH), died 1:10 a.m. Monday April 23, 2007 at the JTDM Hospital in St.Marys.

She was born January 9, 1929 in Minster, OH to Ralph & Marie (Kohnen) Poeppelman.

On November 4, 1950 in Minster, OH she married Paul B. Liesner, who died February 21, 1998.

She is survived by:

· Daughter, Dr. Cathy (Steve) Liesner-Miller of Dayton, OH

· Daughter, Tammy (Paul) Nottingham of Groton, MA

· Son, Kevin (Linda) Liesner of Massilon, OH

· Son, Kurt (Catherine) Liesner of Prairie Village, KS

· 12 grandchildren: Wendy Jennings, Justin Davis, Jacob Liesner, Casey Miller, Austin Miller, Benjamin Nottingham, Stuart Nottingham, Nicole Nottingham, Michael Liesner, Jennifer Giesler, Melissa Sullivan, Katherine Liesner

· 5 great-grandchildren

· Sister-in-law, Sandra Poeppelman of St.Marys, OH

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Richard Poeppelman, brother Dale Poeppelman.

She was a1946 graduate of Minster High School.  She was a homemaker.  She was a loving and nurturing mother who greatly enjoyed her grand and great-grandchildren. She was passionate about playing cards and cooking. She was active in the Auglaize Co. Senior Citizens and the Democratic Party of Auglaize Co.  She was a member of the St.Patrick’s Catholic Church in Glynwood, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled 10:00 a.m. Friday April 27, 2007 at the St.Patrick’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Oscar Seger, officiating. Burial will follow at the St.Thomas Cemetery in Glynwood.

Visitation 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 - 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys.

Memorial contributions may be directed to either the St.Patrick’s Catholic Church or the Auglaize Co. Senior Citizens.
