Linda C. Lenhart, 70, of 314 Market Street,
Saint Marys, Ohio, died 11:17 A.M. Thursday, January 5, 2012, at the Saint
Marys Living Center.
She
was born January 12, 1941, in New Knoxville, Ohio, the daughter of Ernest and
Dorothy (Glass) Katttman.
She
married LeRoy Lenhart on June 8,1953, and he survives at the residence.
She
is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Kattman of New Knoxville; by her five
children: Laura (Rob) Hoehamer of Rockford, Ohio; Jodi (Mark) Hagan of Saint
Marys; Patti (Gary) Schaublin of Columbia, South Carolina; Susan (Jesse) Paul
of New Bremen; Caren (Neil) Mahlie of Saint Marys; by one brother, David
(Dianne) Kattman of North Olmstead, Ohio; by eleven grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by her father.
Linda
was a 1959 graduate of New Knoxville High School. She attended beauty college
and also the Fort Wayne Business College. She had formerly been a realtor and
had worked for many years at the Auglaize County Council on Aging. She enjoyed
flowers, cooking, collecting dolls, and she was a talented seamstress. She was
a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2012, at the First
United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Reverend Chuck Moeller,
officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday in the Heritage Room of the
First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where memorial donations may
be directed to the Radio Broadcast Fund of the church; JTDMH Home Health or
the Saint Marys Living Cetner.
