Leo A. Lenhart, 76, of 1514 Neil Avenue, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 7:17 P.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at the Saint Marys Living Center, Saint Marys, Ohio, following an extended illness. 

He was born February 8, 1931 in Botkins, Ohio, the son of Ferd and Theresa (Schmidt) Lenhart. 

He married Norma Chicklon on July 6, 1963; she survives at the residence. 

He is survived by:

Daughter, Michelle Varran of Novi, Michigan

· Son, Gregory Lenhart of Lima, Ohio

· Daughter, Mary (Jeff) Stein of Celina

· 4 grandchildren: Katie Stein, Kelsey Stein, Kyle Stein and Kristina Stein

· Sister, Ruth Siefring of Saint Marys

· Sister, Shirley Cooper of Botkins

· Brother, Tom Lenhart of Sidney 

He was preceded in death by his parents; by one sister, Dorothy Martin; by three brothers-in-law, Paul Siefring, Gary Cooper and Paul Martin. 

Leo was a 1949 graduate of Botkins High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching TV and taking care of his family., singing and cooking.

A mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29,2007 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St.Marys, OH, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher, celebrant.  Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St.Marys, OH.
