Lucille E. Lehman, age 97, of 216 N. Buckeye Street, St.Marys, OH died at 9:41 a.m. on June 17, 2011 at the St.Marys Living Center in St.Marys, OH.
She was born on February 18, 1914 in Mansfield, OH, the daughter of Gail and Gertrude (Cunningham) Van Tilbrough.
On August 31, 1934 she married Daniel Dale Lehman, who died on July 27, 1986.
She is survived by:
Daughter, Linda Mallory of St.Marys, OH
Daughter, Judy (Wayne) Wilson of Largo, FL
6 grandchildren
12 great-grandchildren
Sister, Lavida Grimm of Celina, OH
She was deceased by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Larry Mallory; and her sister, LaVonda (Bonnie) Lehman.
She was a 1932 graduate of Portsmouth, OH High School.
A farm wife, she had worked as an inspector in the DWG Cigar Factory in St.Marys, and as a floor supervisor for the former G. C. Murphy Company in downtown St.Marys. She was an accomplished seamstress and did alterations for others.
She was a member of the Women’s Garden Club, St.Marys All Hobbies Club, and served as an advisor for the Noble Workers 4-H Club.
Her favorite pastimes included solving crossword puzzles, playing scrabble and dominos, and traveling. She dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lehman will be held 12 noon, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St.Marys, OH. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 until noon on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
