Yvette H. Lace, 56, of 725 Hillcrest Drive in St.Marys, OH died 5:30 a.m. Sunday April 5, 2009 at her residence, following an extended illness.

She was born March 23, 1952 in New York, NY to Francisco and Ilia (Morales) Ramirez.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Heather Lace of Rockville, IN

Son, David Lace of Edwardsburg, MI

Father, Francisco Ramirez of San Diego, CA

Brother, Franko Ramirez of Grand Junction, CO

Sister, Deborah Agahan of San Diego, CA

5 grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her mother and her daughter, Ilia Lace.

She was a graduate of Kearny High School in San Diego, CA.  She was a homemaker, care-giver and was active in the ministry of her church.

She was a member of the Shekinah Temple in St.Marys.

An accomplished artist, she dabbled in oils and watercolors. She also enjoyed woodworking and singing.

Funeral services are scheduled 4:00 p.m. Wednesday April 8, 2009 at the Shekinah Temple 519 Greenville Road in St.Marys, with the Rev. Judy Ball, officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be held after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
