Joyce E. Kogge, 75, of 211 North Vine Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 7:51 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Saint Ritas Medical Center, Lima.

She was born January 9, 1936, in Saint Marys, the daughter of E.B. and Lillian (Piper) Hall. 

She married LeRoy Kogge on February 22, 1952 and he survives at the residence. 

She is also survived by her four daughters: Jeri (Rick) Lipp of Celina; Nancy (Rodger) Moeller of Celina;Linda (Tony) McDonald of Saint Marys; Kristine Holt of Saint Marys; by nine grandchildren: Jason Lipp; Danielle Lipp; Brian Moeller; Kevin Moeller; Amanda McDonald; Michael McDonald; Melissa McDonald; Jeremy Holt; Trevor Holt; by five great-grandchildren; by one sister: Nancy Hyll of Kettering, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by one sister: Dona Corigan; by a brother-in-law, Lou Hyll. 

Joyce was the owner of the former Pagoda Beauty Shoppe in Saint Marys; she was also a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ; she enjoyed sewing, reading, watching movies and spending time with her beloved cat. 

Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Ed Bray, officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 3-8 P.M. at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to Saint Paul's United Church of Christ or Saint Ritas Hospice.
