Thomas J. Kendrick, 67, of 11689 Wabash Road in Rockford, OH died 8:15 p.m. Sunday December 19, 2010 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born December 15, 1943 in Newport, KY to Thomas R. and Sylvia Mae (Lafferty) Kendrick.

On January 5, 1962 in Dayton, OH he married Betty Lou Gardner, who survives.

He is also survived by:

• son Thomas Kendrick of Rockford, OH
• daughter Kimberly (Travis) Auer of St. Marys, OH
• 2 grandsons: Brandon & Joshua Auer, both of St. Marys, OH
• sister Patty Carpenter of Fairborn, OH
• sister Carol (Delmar) Hall of West Alexandria, OH

He was preceded in death by his parentsand his brother, Robert Kendrick

He retired from the Phillip Industries in Elkhart, IN, where he worked as a field service engineer and master installer.

He was a member of the Monticello United Brethren Church in Monticello, OH.

His favorite pastimes included camping and anything involving classic automobiles with lots of chrome.

Rites are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 23, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, OH with Pastor Andrew Atkins, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 5 - 8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
