Beatrice Keiber, 86, formerly of St.Marys, OH, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville, OH. 

She was born September 9,1921, in St.Marys, OH, the daughter of Lewis and Clara (Moore) Frey. 

She married Emerson C. Bilger on September 25,1940: he was killed serving his country in WWII.  She married Vernon Keiber on December 7, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1999. 

She is survived by:

¨ 4 step-great-grandchildren

¨ 2 great-great-grandchildren

¨ Brother, Charles Frey, St.Marys, OH

¨ Brother, John Frey, El Paso, TX 

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a sister, Mary Anderson; two brothers, Woodrow and Leroy Frey. 

Beatrice was a 1939 graduate of St.Marys Memorial High School.  She was a homemaker and loved history. She was extremely interested in politics and loved to talk and debate about them.  She had attended St.Paul’s United Church of Christ in St.Marys.  She loved her cat Fluff Fluff very much.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 10,2008 at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St.Marys, OH, the Rev. Steve Wills, officiating.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the Diabetic Association.
