Martha J. Kattman, 78, of 500 West South Street, New Knoxville, Ohio, died 9:35 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Otterbein St.Marys, St. Rt.364, St.Marys, OH.

She was born February 27, 1931, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Ervin and Barbara (Burd) Adams.

She married Lee Kattman on October 19, 1950; he survives at the residence.

She is survived by her two children:

• Brenda Kattman of Lima;
• Gary (Beth) Kattman of Greensboro, North Carolina;
• grandson, Michael Kattman of Greensboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Martha was a 1949 graduate of St.Marys Memorial High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Very Reverend Dr. David A. Williams, officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday in the Heritage Room of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where memorial donations may be directed to the Radio Broadcast Fund of the church. Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, 200 West Spring Street, is in charge of the arrangements.
