Pamela Jean Karen, 53, of 201 ˝ East Spring Street, Saint Marys, died Monday, November 16, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital after a battle with cancer.
She was born November 30, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Jeanne (Morley) Miller. They preceded her in death.
She had been married to David Karen of Johannesburg, Michigan. She is also survived by her two daughters: Angela Karen of Saint Marys and Sandra Karen of Saint Marys; by two grandchildren: Kalee Helm and Doniven Helm; by two brothers: David Miller of Spencerville; Rick Miller of Saint Marys.
Pam was a state certified nurse’s aide and was employed at the Saint Marys Living Center.
She enjoyed playing cards, taking care of her pets and spending time with family and friends, especially her two grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 20, 2009, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Pastor Jim Fletcher, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held in Port Huron, Michigan.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, where memorial donations may be directed to either the Cancer Association of Auglaize County or the Auglaize County Humane Society.
