Maggie “Granny” Huff, 92, of 104 South Pear Street, St.Marys, OH died 8:51 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009 at her residence. 

She was born July 19,1917 in Garrett, KY, the daughter of Harvey and Mary  (Hicks) Banks. 

She married Claude Huff on July 19, 1934; he preceded her in death on June 26, 1989. 

She is survived by her children:

¨ Daughter, Anna Laura Drummond of St.Marys, OH

¨ Son, Harold “Pete” (Julia) Huff of St.Marys, OH

¨ Son, Eugene (Ruth) Huff of Grand Rapids, MI

¨ Son, Harvey Huff of St.Marys, OH

¨ Daughter-in-law, Betty Huff of St.Marys, OH

¨ 19 grandchildren

¨ Numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons: James and Charles Huff; sisters, Sarah Lykins and Janie Banks; a grandson, Todd Huff; brother, Johnny Banks; son-in-law, James Drummond. 

Granny retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St.Marys after 28 years of service.  She had also worked as a cook at the Auglaize County Home.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.  She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in St.Marys.

Funeral rites will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 1009 at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH, Pastor Ron Lambert, officiant.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the First Wesleyan Church.
