Charles J. Huff, 70, of 805 Lake Avenue, St.Marys, OH, died 3:15 P.M. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Saint Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born January 31, 1938, in Floyd County, Kentucky, the son of Claude and Maggie (Banks) Huff. His mother survives in St.Marys and his father is deceased.

He married Betty Koverman on June 1, 1959; she survives at the residence.

He is also survived by his two children: Gary (Teresa) Huff of St.Marys; Gail Dorsten of Saint Marys; three grandchildren: Mark Rothermick of Toledo; Shawn and Allen Dorsten, both of St.Marys; by a sister, Anna Drummond of St.Marys; three brothers: Harold “Pete” (Julia) Huff of St.Marys; Reverend Eugene (Ruth) Huff of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Harvey Huff of St.Marys.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Charlie retired from Trim Trends Company in Spencerville after 38 years of service. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in Saint Marys. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral rites will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, Reverend Eugene Huff and Reverend Ron Lampert, officiants. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St.Marys.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the First Wesleyan Church.
