Kenneth “Ken” W. Huckemeyer, 66, of 103 Causeway Drive in St.Marys, OH was found dead Wednesday May 21, 2008 at his residence. He had been in failing health for some time.

He was born August 2, 1941 in Lima, OH to Walter W. & Mable C. (Johns) Huckemeyer.

He is survived by a brother Allan Huckemeyer of St.Marys, OH

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter & Mable Huckemeyer and a sister-in-law Penny (Howell) Huckemeyer

He was a 1959 graduate of Memorial High School in St.Marys.

He retired from the former Avco-New Idea Corp. in Coldwater, OH , where he worked as a stock handler.

He was a member of St.Paul’s United Church of Christ in St.Marys, Eagles Lodge Aerie # 367 in Coldwater and the Moose Lodge in Celina.

He enjoyed watching television, fishing and was a big fan auto racing, especially NASCAR.

Services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 27, 2008 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St.Marys.

Visitation noon - 2:00 p.m. prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St.Paul’s UCC endowment fund.
