Paulette M. Hoelscher, 57, of 714 West South Street, St.Marys, OH died 9:05 Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born September 5, 1951 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Clifford and Betty (Greenway) Vinnece. 

She married Daniel Hoelscher on September 4,1971; he survives at the residence. 

She is also survived by:

¨ Son, Jeff (Amanda) Hoelscher of Mason, OH

¨ 3 grandchildren:  Abigail, Jamie and Jack Hoelscher

¨ Brother, Richard (Mary Ann) Vinnece of Arcanum, OH

¨ Sister, Beth Ann (Roger) Cotterman of Dayton, TN 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Paulette was a 1969 graduate of Celina High School.  She had formerly worked as a police dispatcher at the St.Marys Police Department. She was a housewife and local historian.  She led 3 archeological digs at Fort St.Marys and co-authored a book about Fort St.Marys.  She was a member of the Auglaize County Historical Society and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St.Marys, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St.Marys, OH, Father Anthony Cutcher, celebrant.  Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St.Marys.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St.Marys, OH and one hour prior to the mass on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Lake Hospice in care of Miller Funeral Home,314 West High Street, St.Marys, OH, 45885.
